Kvadrat the Vinnytsia Regional Youth Center joined the Start! project with the idea of developing a coffee shop as a social enterprise. The youth center is located in the city center and attracts many visitors, so they decided to set up a coffee shop where people could not only have coffee, but also work, socialize, or host an event.

Our youth center functions as a shelter. People who stay here during air raid alarms, as well as visitors to our events, training sesions, creative workshops, and social projects, often wanted to have a good cup of coffee and a snack. This inspired us to open a coffee shop inside the ‘Kvadrat’ youth center. Coffee shops are traditionally popular among young people, as they create an atmosphere of informality and comfort. Also, our coffee shop has become not just a place to relax, but a platform for educational and cultural initiatives
The coffee shop has become a great addition to the youth center
Which is constantly visited by students, freelancers, community activists, artists, and military personnel. This helps foster effective networking and build a united community of like-minded people.
In addition, 10% of the coffee shop’s profits are planned to be allocated to the development of the material and technical resources of youth centers in the Vinnytsia region. In this way, this business supports the development of the entire network of youth centers in the region.
