Interactive space for scientific exhibits
The Youth Cultural and Educational Centre of Science in Ternopil will complement the space of interactive scientific exhibits on the basis of the existing science museum.
The space will offer excursions that recreate certain physical phenomena and allow interaction with them; workshops that allow young people to develop creativity, modelling and design; and a science show using research experiments in chemistry and physics.

10%
of the profits will be used to support young inventors by creating grants for their first scientific projects, experiments and research. We will also provide free admission for socially vulnerable groups.
In Ternopil, a science museum is being developed as an inclusive space for ‘non-boring’ science, open to everyone.
This space already operates as a self-sufficient hub for the talented youth of the community.
New museum format

The Youth Cultural and Educational Science Center of Ternopil launched a science museum in the city center as a social enterprise. This institution significantly differs from the stereotypical idea of a ‘museum’ and brings science closer and more accessible through a new inclusive space.
The history of the museum began back in 2017, when the project team organized many science popularization events, including Science Picnics at the Faine Misto festival.

The uniqueness of our business idea lies in combining a scientific approach with cultural and social activities. We have created a space that today serves as a platform for dozens of public organizations, educational initiatives, workshops, exhibitions, and science events. The idea is to transform this space into a full-fledged social entrepreneurial model: with excursions, workshops, science shows, birthday celebrations, and more

The current format has grown into a sustainable institution that provides a modern interactive museum, opportunities for the development of talented youth, inclusivity, and access for vulnerable social groups. The museum offers educational workshops in programming and robotics, excursions, science shows, and birthday celebrations. These activities are held not only within the museum itself but also off-site.

The social component of the museum’s work includes both supporting the sustainable operation of the youth center and funding youth initiatives and providing free services for socially vulnerable groups.

Our social mission is to popularize science and also to provide young people with opportunities to develop in this field, achieving new heights. That’s why, with the help of social entrepreneurship, we plan to continue supporting the Young Inventor project, whose goal is precisely to support the sustainability and development of young people, assisting them in their scientific research and the creation of innovative projects. An equally important part is the support of youth policy in general. That’s why our youth center is essentially a hub where numerous events take place, youth initiatives are implemented, and real magic is created that drives the development of our community forward
