“Hub 93”
Reviving heritage through business!
The youth center Hub 93 in the city of Kalush, created by NGO “Free People of Kalush”, actively works on developing social entrepreneurship to promote local cultural heritage.

We realized that for the project to succeed, it was essential to ensure active participation and support from the community. To achieve this, we engaged the community of active Hub 93 visitors in developing concepts and ideas, which were later embodied in Kalush city merchandise. Additionally, we launched an informational campaign to highlight the importance of social enterprise for the development of youth initiatives in the community.
The project operates offline at Hub 93 and through participation in fairs, as well as online — via social media, which allows us to reach a broader audience. We also teach young people about entrepreneurship by organizing events in educational institutions. As a result, we have created a strong example of how social entrepreneurship can simultaneously support cultural identity, contribute to economic development, and inspire young people to actively engage in community life.
Clothing and souvenirs with a story!
The core idea behind Hub 93’s social enterprise is the production of clothing, souvenirs, and handcrafted items that showcase the cultural and historical uniqueness of Kalush. In fact, the center’s team was the first to offer a comprehensive product line dedicated to the city’s heritage and identity.
Merchandise that tells the story of Kalush!
The center’s products are presented in themed collections that celebrate the history and cultural identity of Kalush, helping to popularize regional traditions and support the YC’s financial sustainability. The merchandise is intended for locals, tourists, and local businesses. Each item highlights iconic locations in Kalush, introducing tourists to the city and evoking a sense of nostalgia among its residents.
Soon, Hub 93 is planning to launch a mini-printing facility, expand the product range, attract new partners, open an offline store at the youth center, and present its merchandise at local and regional fairs.
Profits will be reinvested into the development of the youth center Hub 93 and support for youth-led initiatives within Kalush community.
