The company will also create accessories from used banners. Such a souvenir will reduce the amount of waste, because you can make a unique shopper or banana for your business even from your own banner, which was an advertisement yesterday and will become merchandise today!

How Bucha is rethinking printing
The Plast Educational Center in the city of Bucha, Kyiv region, together with the Mist Zmin NGO launched a special eco-oriented printing house within the framework of a project. Their project not only provides an opportunity to produce printed materials but also positively influences the culture of consumption and reuse of such products.

The project gave us the opportunity to systematize our ideas and turn them into a full-fledged social enterprise — the Eco Print Station. We wanted not just to produce products, but to create a platform for dialogue about environmental awareness, social responsibility, creativity, and the power of local solutions. It’s important to us that every person who buys our postcards, T-shirts, or other products knows they are supporting youth work, a new wave of entrepreneurs, and social change.
As a youth center, for years we have been engaged in non-formal education, organizing events, training sessions, and camps. In this process, we constantly needed printed products — T-shirts, printed materials, posters. This gave rise to the understanding that we could produce these items ourselves, involving young people, developing entrepreneurship, and supporting our own initiatives. So, we don’t just fulfill orders — we help clients create products with a story, with a mission. This could be a limited series of T-shirts that speak about national identity, or postcards promoting a sustainable lifestyle
Eco-printing house – we give a second life
The Eco Print Station helps recycle large amounts of printed materials, banners, badges, and other merchandise, which after being used at events could have simply become waste. Plast members have not only mastered the recycling of what they produced for themselves but also promote this idea in the communities of Kyiv region to change the public’s view on the possibility of reusing and recycling printed materials and merchandise.

To spread and scale this process, they organize tours, themed meetings with youth, and establish international connections. The generated profit is planned to be directed toward organizing youth camps, educational programs for young people, and conducting additional ecological events and initiatives.
In the future, Plast members also plan to set up the recycling of banners into various accessories, work on further community development through collaboration with bloggers, organizing educational events, and volunteer initiatives.
