In the pottery studio, visitors can relax, develop fine motor skills, spend time with loved ones, and try a new hobby.
The studio offers individual and group workshops, group art therapy, themed holidays and even dates!
The main mission of the studio is to create an inclusive space where people with different backgrounds and abilities can express themselves through pottery. It is open to everyone, regardless of age, experience or physical abilities.

In Kovel, a youth center is receiving financial support and learning entrepreneurship by producing high-quality city-themed merchandise and developing pottery skills with modern equipment.

The Misto Idei Youth Center in Kovel launched the Glek pottery studio and the Create Your Own workshop for producing souvenirs as part of the project. This is a relevant niche, as it had previously been difficult to find high-quality, authentic merchandise featuring community attributes in Kovel.
The Create Your Own workshop already offers a wide range of branded products, including printed mugs, tote bags, keychains, socks, cosmetic bags, bottles, notebooks, pens, mousepads, T-shirts, and hoodies. The workshop also trains youth to work with this equipment.

We showed the youth how our workshop operates, introduced them to the equipment. Everyone could create their own items, such as eco-bags with images of their choice. We also used the technique of vybiika on the bags — an old method of printing on fabric using carved stamps. This is how our ancestors decorated their clothing, and we continue practicing it today. We try to combine ancient techniques with modern ones
This way, young people learn how to run a business. They must find clients, come up with a design, learn how to communicate with customers, produce the items with our specialists’ support, and get paid for their work

The printing workshop encourages youth to develop entrepreneurial skills. Young people are invited to find clients, design custom merchandise, and sell it. A portion of the profit, according to set prices, is reinvested into the development of the youth center.

Another unique aspect of the workshop is the combination of regular merchandise production with a pottery studio. This allows the creation of exclusive ceramic souvenirs and offers workshops for anyone interested. Products can be made by hand or using a pottery 3D printer. A regular pottery club operates at the center, along with inclusive workshops for youth, people with disabilities, veterans, and internally displaced persons. In the first three months alone, over 13 such events were held.
100% of the studio’s income is directed toward supporting youth initiatives at the Misto Idei Youth Center.
